Description

Effortlessly prepare juicily tender chicken breasts in a slow cooker, perfect for meal prep and versatile enough for various dishes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6-8 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon ground paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Combine the salt, onion powder, thyme, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  3. Rub each chicken breast with olive oil and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over both sides.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until done.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or shredding.

Notes

Avoid lifting the lid during cooking, and use a meat thermometer for best results.
