Ingredients

  • 1 rotisserie chicken
  • Tostada shells
  • Fresh lettuce
  • Juicy tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese (your choice)
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Lime wedges
  • Optional: your favorite seasonings (like cumin or chili powder)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Shred the rotisserie chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Place tostada shells on a baking sheet and warm them in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  4. While the shells are heating, prepare your toppings: finely chop the lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and slice the avocado.
  5. Once the tostada shells are ready, layer each with shredded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and cheese.
  6. Finish things off with a drizzle of sour cream and salsa, and serve with lime wedges on the side. Enjoy your crispy tostadas!

Notes

Store uneaten toppings separately in airtight containers for up to three days. Tostada shells can be stored at room temperature. Shredded chicken can be frozen for up to three months.
