- 1 lb. asparagus spears
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt

- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F.
- Prepare the asparagus by rinsing and cutting off the bottom ends for even lengths.
- Spread asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Roast for 10 minutes, then turn the asparagus and broil for another 3-5 minutes until browned.
- Serve as is or top with grated parmesan and balsamic glaze.
Notes
For best results, choose fresh asparagus and ensure they are spread out on the baking sheet for even roasting. Can substitute broccolini if asparagus isn’t available.
