Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Begin by washing the salmon fillets and patting them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and place the salmon fillets skin-side down. Sear for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crisp.
  4. Flip the fillets carefully and pour the honey garlic glaze over them. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until fully cooked.

Notes

You can substitute maple syrup for honey for a different flavor profile. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick!
