Description

A deliciously coated salmon dish with a crispy garlic-miso glaze, ready in about 30 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste (white or yellow)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the glaze: In a bowl, mix together the miso paste, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Coat salmon fillets generously with the garlic-miso glaze, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is crispy.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a twist, add chili paste to the glaze or mix in fresh citrus juice.
