Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 3 tablespoons miso paste (white or yellow)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Optional: sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the glaze: In a bowl, mix together the miso paste, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Coat salmon fillets generously with the garlic-miso glaze, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is crispy.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
For a twist, add chili paste to the glaze or mix in fresh citrus juice.
