Ingredients
- 1 small head of green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup of shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture.
- Toss everything together until well coated.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to enhance the flavors (optional).
Notes
Feel free to substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter version, or you can use red cabbage for a pop of color.
