Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white wine (dry)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the pasta as per the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest, then season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Finally, add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
