A rich and creamy chicken dish infused with garlic and Parmesan, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring well to deglaze the skillet. Add the grated Parmesan cheese while stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it’s well-coated with the sauce. Allow it to simmer on low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter sauce, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
