Description

Flaky and creamy festive crescent rolls filled with cranberry sauce and cream cheese, perfect for the holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-roll) package pre-made crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury)
  • 8 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 8 heaping teaspoons cranberry sauce (homemade or canned)
  • 8 small pinches fresh thyme leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  4. Arrange the triangles on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. On the widest end of each triangle, place 1 tablespoon of cream cheese and top with 1 heaping teaspoon of cranberry sauce. Sprinkle thyme if using.
  6. Starting from the wide end, gently roll each piece of dough toward the narrow tip.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Let them cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Make ahead by assembling the rolls a day in advance and refrigerating them before baking. Try different cheeses like brie or goat cheese for variation.
