Description

A healthier twist on the classic buffalo chicken dip, using cottage cheese for a creamy, protein-packed appetizer that’s perfect for any party.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup buffalo sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded chicken breast
  • 1 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese, plus extra for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F and grease a medium oven-safe ceramic dish.
  2. Blend cottage cheese, olive oil, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. In a bowl, combine the blended mixture with shredded chicken, diced red bell pepper, sliced green onions, and cheddar cheese.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the greased dish and top with additional cheddar cheese.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of dippers.

Notes

For extra heat, adjust the buffalo sauce to taste. Can also be made vegetarian by omitting the chicken and adding more vegetables.
