A healthier twist on the classic buffalo chicken dip, using cottage cheese for a creamy, protein-packed appetizer that’s perfect for any party.
Ingredients
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup buffalo sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded chicken breast
- 1 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese, plus extra for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F and grease a medium oven-safe ceramic dish.
- Blend cottage cheese, olive oil, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- In a bowl, combine the blended mixture with shredded chicken, diced red bell pepper, sliced green onions, and cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased dish and top with additional cheddar cheese.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve hot with your choice of dippers.
Notes
For extra heat, adjust the buffalo sauce to taste. Can also be made vegetarian by omitting the chicken and adding more vegetables.
