Description
A vibrant smoothie that recreates the tropical tang of Jamba Juiceās Caribbean Passion with passion fruit juice, frozen fruit, and creamy sherbet.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups passion fruit juice
- 2 cups frozen mixed fruit (strawberries, pineapple, mango, peaches)
- 1 cup orange sherbet (or pineapple sherbet)
- ½ cup crushed ice
Instructions
- Chill your serving glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes if you like a cold presentation.
- Pour passion fruit juice into the blender first.
- Add the frozen mixed fruit next, then the orange sherbet.
- Add the crushed ice on top.
- Start blending on low for 10–15 seconds to break up large chunks.
- Increase speed to medium-high and blend until smooth and thick — about 1–4 minutes depending on blender power. Stop and scrape sides if needed.
- Taste. If it’s too tart, add 1–2 teaspoons honey or agave and blend briefly.
- Pour into your chilled glass and serve with a straw. Enjoy!
Notes
For a vegan option, substitute sherbet with dairy-free alternatives. Smoothies are best fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
