Ingredients
- 1 cup cookie butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch cake pan.
- Cream together the cookie butter, brown sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the cookie butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
