Description

A fresh, garlicky sauce that instantly elevates any meal, perfect for steak, grilled vegetables, and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the base: In a medium bowl, add the chopped parsley, olive oil, and red wine vinegar.
  2. Add the aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes.
  3. Season carefully: Add salt and pepper a little at a time, mixing and tasting until it pops.
  4. Let it rest: Cover and let the chimichurri sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature to meld flavors.
  5. Serve: Spoon generously over steak (or whatever you’re eating).

Notes

Chop the parsley finely for a cohesive sauce. Let the chimichurri rest to allow flavors to meld.
