A delightful fusion dish combining the flavors of chicken tikka masala with the crispy satisfaction of quesadillas, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken tikka masala
- 4 flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter
- Chutney for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese over it.
- Spread half of the chicken tikka masala on top of the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over it.
- Top with another tortilla and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese melts.
- Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Cut into wedges and serve with chutney or additional tikka masala sauce for dipping.
Notes
Customize tortillas with whole wheat or gluten-free options. For extra crunch, consider grilling or toasting the quesadillas in a panini press.
