Description
Perfectly grilled chicken skewers paired with a sweet and spicy honey sambal sauce, making them an ideal dish for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken thighs
- 3.5 g salt (½ tsp)
- 4 g garlic powder (1⅓ tsp)
- 5 g onion powder (1⅔ tsp)
- 1 g dried parsley
- 2 g cayenne pepper (⅔ tsp)
- 2 g coriander powder (⅔ tsp)
- 15 g sweet soy sauce
- 30 ml sunflower oil
- 60 g honey
- 10 g sambal
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven.
- Combine in a bowl: chicken thighs, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, cayenne pepper, coriander powder, sweet soy sauce, and sunflower oil.
- Mix well, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill or bake the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing honey and sambal.
- Serve the skewers hot, drizzled with the honey sambal sauce.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
