Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 onion (yellow or white)
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Sauté bell peppers and onions in the same skillet until softened, roughly 5-6 minutes.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet with the veggies, mixing to combine.
- Layer provolone cheese on top and let it melt, covering the skillet for a minute if needed.
- Serve the chicken and veggie mixture in toasted hoagie rolls. Enjoy!
