Description

A mouthwatering Chicken Philly Cheesesteak made with tender chicken, vibrant veggies, and gooey provolone cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion (yellow or white)
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. Sauté bell peppers and onions in the same skillet until softened, roughly 5-6 minutes.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet with the veggies, mixing to combine.
  6. Layer provolone cheese on top and let it melt, covering the skillet for a minute if needed.
  7. Serve the chicken and veggie mixture in toasted hoagie rolls. Enjoy!
