Description
A savory marinade that combines honey and soy sauce for grilled chicken that is juicy and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Place the chicken thighs inside a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring every piece is well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, though overnight yields the best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess drip off.
- Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Ensure juices run clear.
- Serve hot and enjoy every bite!
Notes
For optimal flavor, allow your chicken to marinate overnight. Avoid flipping the chicken too often on the grill for nice sear marks.
