Description

Crispy, saucy chicken drumettes shaped like lollipops, perfect for parties and game nights.


Ingredients

  • Chicken drumettes
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: chopped scallions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Shape the chicken. Pat the drumettes dry. Using a knife, cut around the narrow end near the bone, then push the meat down toward the thicker end.
  2. Make the sauce/marinade. In a bowl, whisk together chili garlic sauce, honey, soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust.
  3. Marinate the drumettes and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high until hot.
  5. Fry in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 8–10 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
  7. Serve warm and garnish with chopped scallions if desired.
