Description

Crispy, saucy chicken drumsticks served as fun, handheld lollipops, perfect for parties and casual dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.
  2. Season the drumsticks with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a large bowl. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Add the olive oil and mix until lightly coated.
  4. Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Brush with barbecue sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  6. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a clean lollipop look, push the meat towards the thick end and wrap the bone end with foil.
