Description
Crispy, saucy chicken drumsticks served as fun, handheld lollipops, perfect for parties and casual dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken drumsticks
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.
- Season the drumsticks with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a large bowl. Toss until evenly coated.
- Add the olive oil and mix until lightly coated.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Brush with barbecue sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a clean lollipop look, push the meat towards the thick end and wrap the bone end with foil.
