Description

Indulge in crispy pan-seared chicken drizzled with a rich garlic butter sauce that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (for the sauce)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Dredge the chicken in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes. Add chicken broth and lemon juice to deglaze the pan.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and let the sauce simmer until it thickens.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak up the garlic butter sauce for a couple of minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Pound the chicken for even cooking and use fresh parmesan for better melting. Don’t rush the sauce to enhance garlic’s sweetness.
