Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring crispy tortillas filled with chicken, avocado, and cheese, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 (10-inch) tortillas
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken, sliced or shredded
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup salsa verde
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Layer one tortilla in the skillet, then sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  3. Add the cooked chicken, avocado slices, salsa verde, and the remaining cheese, then top with the second tortilla.
  4. Grill until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 2-4 minutes.
  5. Flip carefully and cook for another 2-4 minutes on the other side.
  6. Slice into wedges for serving.

Notes

Serve with sour cream or guacamole for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
