Description

A bright, tart cherry lime smoothie that tastes like summer in a glass, perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen cherries (pitted)
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (baby spinach works well)
  • 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 12 limes, juiced
  • 1/2 cup water


Instructions

  1. Pour 1/2 cup water into the blender.
  2. Add the cup of spinach on top of the liquid.
  3. Break the banana in halves and add it to the blender.
  4. Add frozen cherries and frozen strawberries.
  5. Squeeze the juice of 1–2 limes over the fruit.
  6. Secure the lid and blend on medium-high until smooth, about 30–60 seconds.
  7. Check the texture and adjust thickness if needed.
  8. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired, then blend briefly.
  9. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Best eaten immediately for peak flavor and color; can be stored in an airtight jar for up to 24 hours.
