Description
A bright, tart cherry lime smoothie that tastes like summer in a glass, perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups frozen cherries (pitted)
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup fresh spinach (baby spinach works well)
- 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1–2 limes, juiced
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Pour 1/2 cup water into the blender.
- Add the cup of spinach on top of the liquid.
- Break the banana in halves and add it to the blender.
- Add frozen cherries and frozen strawberries.
- Squeeze the juice of 1–2 limes over the fruit.
- Secure the lid and blend on medium-high until smooth, about 30–60 seconds.
- Check the texture and adjust thickness if needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if desired, then blend briefly.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Best eaten immediately for peak flavor and color; can be stored in an airtight jar for up to 24 hours.
