Ingredients
- 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 cups Potatoes (sliced thinly)
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 medium Onion (chopped)
- 8 slices Thick Cut Smoky Bacon (cooked and chopped)
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- Fresh Herbs (such as parsley or chives for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the potatoes thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer half the potatoes, then pour half the sauce over them.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese and add half the bacon and onions.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, sauce, cheese, bacon, and onions.
- Top with breadcrumbs for added texture.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Feel free to swap the cream of chicken soup with a vegetarian alternative for a meat-free version. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
