Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat it to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Mix the Casserole: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble in Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake: Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly with melted, slightly golden cheese.
- Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with a salad or crusty bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
