Ingredients
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun spice blend
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced bell peppers and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the shrimp and Cajun spice blend, cooking until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 4-5 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
