Juicy and spicy Buffalo turkey burgers, perfect for weeknight dinners and gatherings with a classic Buffalo kick.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey (lean)
- 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Blue cheese dressing (optional)
Instructions
- Make the burger mixture. In a large bowl, add the ground turkey, buffalo sauce, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until everything is evenly combined.
- Form patties. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Press a slight dip in the center of each patty.
- Preheat your cooking surface. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Lightly oil the grates/pan.
- Cook until done. Cook the patties for 5–7 minutes per side, flipping once, until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Assemble and serve. Place patties on buns and top with lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese dressing if using. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use a thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches 165°F. Don’t overmix for tender burgers.
