Description

Delicious brownie mix cookies that combine the rich flavor of brownies with the convenience of cookies. Perfect for last-minute cravings!

Ingredients

  • 1 family-size (18-ounce) box Brownie Mix
  • 3 tablespoons (22 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons (18 grams) dark cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line three baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, pour in the brownie mix.
  4. Stir in the flour and cocoa powder until combined.
  5. Lightly beat the eggs and add them to the dry ingredients.
  6. Pour in the melted butter and mix until well blended. Expect a thick dough!
  7. Stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  8. Scoop out 20 balls of dough using a #30 ice cream scoop or a spoon, rolling them into smooth balls about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  9. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheets.
  10. Bake one tray at a time for about 10 minutes for gooey cookies or up to 12 minutes for a firmer texture.
  11. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for up to an hour before moving them.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, replace butter with coconut oil. For a gluten-free option, use almond flour. Consider adding nuts or different types of chocolate chips for added flavor.
