Description

A delectable blend of rich brownies and chewy cookies, these Brownie Cookies are quick and easy to make, perfect for satisfying chocolate cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set, but the centers still appear slightly underbaked.
  9. Allow cooling on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder. You can also swap half of the chocolate chips for nuts for added crunch.
