A delectable blend of rich brownies and chewy cookies, these Brownie Cookies are quick and easy to make, perfect for satisfying chocolate cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set, but the centers still appear slightly underbaked.
- Allow cooling on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder. You can also swap half of the chocolate chips for nuts for added crunch.
