Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving


Instructions

  1. Combine the shrimp with chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
  3. Warm the tortillas in another skillet or microwave while the shrimp are cooking.
  4. Assemble your tacos by placing the cooked shrimp on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, avocado slices, and fresh cilantro.
