Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
  • 1/4 cup nuts (like walnuts or almonds, optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit (like raisins or cranberries, optional)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or vinaigrette dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, red onion, cheese, bacon (if using), nuts (if using), and dried fruit (if using).
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise or vinaigrette dressing with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently until well coated.
