Description

A refreshing, vibrant salad combining broccoli, cauliflower, and a zesty dressing for perfect pairings at any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 cups fresh cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup grapes, halved (green or red)
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts (optional)
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Rinse the broccoli and cauliflower florets thoroughly. Chop them into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar or honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Combine: In a large bowl, toss the chopped broccoli, cauliflower, grapes, carrots, and red onion. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix thoroughly until all vegetables are coated.
  4. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Serve: Just before serving, sprinkle sunflower seeds or nuts on top for added crunch.

Notes

For a healthier twist, swap mayo for Greek yogurt and customize with additional veggies.
