Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
- 2 cups cauliflower florets, chopped
- 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled (can substitute turkey bacon)
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a dairy-free alternative)
- ⅓ cup red onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli and cauliflower florets.
- Add the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and finely chopped red onion.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli and cauliflower mixture and toss until well coated.
- Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
