Description

A refreshing salad with a unique combination of broccoli, cauliflower, and bacon, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets, chopped
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled (can substitute turkey bacon)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a dairy-free alternative)
  • ⅓ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli and cauliflower florets.
  2. Add the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and finely chopped red onion.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the broccoli and cauliflower mixture and toss until well coated.
