Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red onion.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the vegetables and gently toss to combine.
- If you’re adding sunflower seeds or nuts, mix them in at this stage.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
