Description

A vibrant and crunchy salad featuring fresh broccoli and cauliflower, enhanced by a creamy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works well)
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (optional)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the broccoli, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cheese, bacon, and sunflower seeds.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
  4. For best results, chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
