Ingredients
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works well)
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (optional)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the broccoli, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cheese, bacon, and sunflower seeds.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
- For best results, chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
