Description
A sweet and savory salmon dish glazed with a bourbon peach sauce and complemented by fresh peach slices.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- ½ cup bourbon
- ¼ cup peach preserves
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for searing
Instructions
- Whisk together bourbon, peach preserves, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Marinate the salmon fillets in the bourbon peach mixture for at least 30 minutes to infuse flavors.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove salmon from marinade and carefully sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
- Add the sliced peaches to the skillet and pour the remaining marinade over the salmon and peaches.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the salmon topped with the caramelized peaches for an impressive finish.
Notes
If you prefer, try using peach-flavored whiskey or a fruity white wine as a substitute for bourbon.
