Description

A sweet and savory salmon dish glazed with a bourbon peach sauce and complemented by fresh peach slices.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • ½ cup bourbon
  • ¼ cup peach preserves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for searing

Instructions

  1. Whisk together bourbon, peach preserves, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in the bourbon peach mixture for at least 30 minutes to infuse flavors.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove salmon from marinade and carefully sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
  5. Add the sliced peaches to the skillet and pour the remaining marinade over the salmon and peaches.
  6. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.
  7. Serve the salmon topped with the caramelized peaches for an impressive finish.

Notes

If you prefer, try using peach-flavored whiskey or a fruity white wine as a substitute for bourbon.
