  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Combine the blueberries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries burst and the mixture starts to thicken, about 5-10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice to brighten the flavor.
  4. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water to create a slurry. Add this to the blueberry mixture, stirring until well combined.
