Ingredients
- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
- Chopped celery or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl.
- Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, horseradish, tomato paste, hot sauce, celery seed, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Sprinkle paprika on top and garnish with chopped celery or parsley.
- Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, let the egg mixture sit for about 30 minutes before using. Best enjoyed cold.
