Description
A crowd-pleasing dessert featuring layers of brownies, cherry pie filling, and a rich whipped chocolate pudding.
Ingredients
- 1 package brownie mix (or homemade brownies), baked and cubed
- 3 cups cherry pie filling
- 2 cups cold milk (2%)
- 2 packages white chocolate instant pudding mix
- 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 bars milk chocolate candy, chopped
- 1 tsp almond extract
- Cranberry-cherry juice as desired
Instructions
- Bake brownies, cool and cut into cubes.
- Mix pudding with cold milk; fold in whipped topping.
- Combine cherry pie filling with almond extract.
- Layer brownie cubes, cherry filling, chocolate pieces, and pudding mixture in a trifle bowl.
- Repeat layers once. Garnish with chocolate curls.
- Refrigerate at least 30 min before serving.
Notes
Use fresh cherries in season for best flavor. Can be assembled a few hours ahead. Adjust pudding sweetness to taste.
