Description

A delightful twist on a classic burger, this Big Mac Pasta Salad combines the flavors of a Big Mac in a fresh and easy-to-make dish perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • Tomato slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Mix together the cooked macaroni, ground beef, dill pickle relish, shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, and ketchup in a large bowl. Stir until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Chill the pasta salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Fold in the shredded lettuce and garnish with tomato slices just before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for beef or Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
