A delightful twist on a classic burger, this Big Mac Pasta Salad combines the flavors of a Big Mac in a fresh and easy-to-make dish perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- Tomato slices for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Mix together the cooked macaroni, ground beef, dill pickle relish, shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, and ketchup in a large bowl. Stir until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill the pasta salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Fold in the shredded lettuce and garnish with tomato slices just before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for beef or Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
