Ingredients
- 1 head Romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing (homemade or store-bought)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon anchovy paste (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine the lettuce, croutons, and grated Parmesan cheese in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, anchovy paste (if using), salt, and pepper in a separate small bowl to create your dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss everything well to combine.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, serve immediately and make your dressing right before serving. Feel free to substitute the Romaine with other greens or use gluten-free croutons.
