A vibrant and crunchy broccoli salad that balances creaminess and sweetness, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjustable to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the broccoli into small, bite-sized florets.
  2. Dice the red bell pepper, shred the carrots, and finely chop the red onion.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, red bell pepper, carrots, red onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds if using.
  4. In a separate smaller bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
  5. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and gently toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting for preference.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes
