Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta (your choice)
- 1 cup grilled chicken, chopped
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup creamy dressing (like ranch or similar)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: chopped green onions or cilantro
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain it and allow it to cool.
- Combine in a large bowl the cooled pasta, grilled chicken, black beans, and shredded cheese.
- Whisk together the barbecue sauce and creamy dressing in a separate bowl until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture. Toss everything together gently to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature, garnished with chopped green onions or cilantro if desired.
Notes
For enhanced flavors, let the salad chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
