Description

Fall-off-the-bone tender BBQ chicken legs cooked easily in a slow cooker, soaking up sweet-smoky flavors for the perfect dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken legs (drumsticks)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce by mixing the BBQ sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Load the slow cooker with the chicken legs. Pour the sauce over the top and turn the legs to coat.
  3. Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  4. Serve with extra sauce from the crock pot and enjoy.
  5. Optional: Broil on a foil-lined baking sheet for 2–4 minutes for a caramelized finish.

Notes

For a less sweet BBQ experience, choose a smoky or vinegar-forward sauce.
