Description

A sweet and savory Balsamic Glazed Salmon that elevates any weeknight dinner with its delightful flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Divide the sauce into two portions.
  3. Place the salmon fillet in a shallow dish and pour half of the sauce over it. Allow it to marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or grease a casserole dish.
  5. Arrange the marinated salmon on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet. Halfway through, baste the salmon with the reserved marinade.
  6. Once cooked, transfer the salmon to a plate and drizzle with the remaining glaze.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter glaze, consider adding more brown sugar. A squeeze of lemon juice can brighten the flavors beautifully.
