Ingredients
- 2 bunches (about 2 lbs) of fresh asparagus
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground, to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and trim the asparagus, removing the tough ends.
- Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, and toss gently.
- Arrange the seasoned asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the spears.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the asparagus.
- Return to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and turned golden.
