Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top for better airflow.
- Make the sauce mixture by stirring together BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Prep the drumsticks by patting them dry with paper towels and placing them on the baking sheet.
- Oil and season the drumsticks by drizzling with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Sauce the chicken by brushing the BBQ sauce mixture all over the drumsticks, coating each one well.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, basting with more sauce halfway through.
- Check doneness with a thermometer; chicken should reach 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
