Ingredients
- Baguette slices (about 1 small baguette)
- 2 ripe avocados
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- Fresh basil leaves (a handful)
- Juice of 1 lime
- Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
- Mash the avocados in a bowl. Add lime juice, salt, and pepper, mixing until creamy but still slightly chunky.
- Spread a generous layer of the avocado mixture over each toasted baguette slice.
- Tear the burrata cheese into smaller pieces and place a piece on top of the avocado spread on each slice.
- Top with a sprinkle of chopped red onion and fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze for the finishing touch just before serving.
