Ingredients

  • 3 large Hass avocados (or 4-5 small)
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes (diced)
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion (minced)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (minced)
  • 2 serrano or jalapeño peppers (minced)
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half and carefully remove the pits.
  2. Score each half with a knife and gently scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, minced onion, cilantro, and seeded peppers into the bowl.
  4. Drizzle in the lime juice and sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Using a fork or potato masher, mash the mixture to your desired consistency—smooth or chunky, it’s your choice!
  6. Serve with corn chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or grilled meats.
