A bright, cooling smoothie that calms inflammation with a blend of turmeric, pineapple, spinach, and banana.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other plant milk)
- 1 banana (ripe for sweetness)
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach (packed)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional; use maple syrup for vegan)
- Ice cubes (optional, 3–4 cubes for extra chill)
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax (optional)
- 1 scoop protein powder or 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional)
Instructions
- Measure and gather ingredients.
- Add liquids and soft ingredients to the blender first.
- Add powders and greens, then blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or spice, then serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, add liquids first and frozen items next. Use ripe bananas for sweetness and creaminess.
