Description
A creamy, sweet-and-sour pasta salad with rotini, broccoli, bacon, and onion that’s perfect for potlucks and BBQs.
Ingredients
- 12 oz rotini pasta
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 cup creamy sweet and sour dressing
Instructions
- Cook the pasta. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rotini until al dente.
- Cool it down. Drain the pasta and rinse under cool water to stop the cooking.
- Combine the salad. In a large bowl, add the cooked rotini, chopped bacon, broccoli florets, and diced onion.
- Add the dressing. Pour the dressing over the top and toss until everything is coated.
- Chill before serving. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Notes
For best results, stir before eating as pasta absorbs dressing over time.
